Returning Date & Time

Renting a vehicle from UTE & Truck Rental Minchinbury is a smooth process. You are expected to return the vehicle to us within the agreed timeframe. Making the process easier, we have made it possible for our valuable clients to return the vehicle at one of our drop off points in 13 different locations.

Our goal is to provide clean and well-maintained vehicles to all our customers. To ensure a good transaction, you must return the vehicle to us in the condition it was given to you in and at the given time.

It is thus essential that you read through our Terms and Conditions before renting the vehicle to ensure a smooth transaction.


When you rent a vehicle from us, we expect that you will take good care of it. This includes driving safely, avoiding any tolls & infringements and keeping it clean.

Cleanliness is our top priority and all our vehicles are well maintained and hygienic. The vehicle must be returned to us in the condition that we provided it to you. We recommend you follow our Safe Driving Tips to stay safe.

Tolls and Infringements

You must keep in mind that we are not responsible for any tolls and infringements that occur during your rental period. You will be responsible for paying any infringements received by National Ute & Truck Rentals.

An administration charge of $10 will be incurred on any unpaid tolls. You must thus avoid parking illegally, driving over the speed limit and any other actions that can incur a fine.


When returning the vehicle, you must remember the amount that was in the tank to begin with and then refill that amount. This ensures a quicker and smoother transaction so that we can prepare the vehicle for our next customer.

Keeping in mind fuel types, for our Utes you must use petrol and for our trucks you should use diesel.

For vehicles that are returned with less fuel, the renter will be charged the difference at a rate, which might include a service charge unless other arrangements have been made.


Here are a few things to keep in mind in regards to timing for our rentals:

  • Hiring a vehicle on weekends (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) requires a minimum full day hire.
  • On weekdays you can hire an overnight rental for which the collection time will be between 4 PM to 4:30 PM and return time will be 7 AM the next day.
  • When you collect your vehicle, please inform our team of the time frame you’re hiring it for.
  • The vehicle must be returned within the decided timeframe in order to pay the effective rate and avoid any hassle.


Payment & No Refund Policy

All our bookings are made beforehand so you won’t have to pay any amount at the return of the vehicle. If any tolls are to be paid for, that can be done via credit card payments.

We try our best to make sure that our clients receive a clean and reliable vehicle that meets their expectations. We thus have a no refund policy in all cases, including if you return the vehicle before time.
